Recap
Michael Alvaro’s scouting notes:
Northern Knights:
#9 Lachlan Murphy – has genuine speed, ran hard and collected a heap of the ball. Is highly damaging with these traits, as well as his booming left foot, which is also very efficient
#10 Matthew Signorello – somewhat of an enigma, gathers possessions without much fuss, but can put out a decent highlight reel. Has great hands, always competes
#13 Luke Bunker – Great battler for his side, spent most of his time in the middle but was effective as a resting forward. Not overly quick, but smart with ball in hand and is always in the right place
#39 Marcus Lentini – Added a fair bit of grunt and works hard, amassing possessions and penetrating the Oakleigh defence. Really stands up for an under-ager
Oakleigh Chargers:
#7 Taylin Duman – showed plenty of dash and racked up the ball. Wasn’t as damaging as one would come to expect, but was consistently in the game
#28 Josh Daicos – was relatively quiet but contributed when it mattered most and his 2 goals helped to push his side over the line. Question mark on skills by hand, a few bad turnovers.
It didn't look great off the boot, but Josh Daicos has another. @OakleighCharger lead by 11 pts. @TACCup #TACCup pic.twitter.com/2wg3NRp8ad

#33 Nick Larkey – contributed in bursts, but well and truly came to life in the last with some massive contested marks and cool finishes to win his side the game.
#35 Jack Higgins – question marks over his kicking range but his use was outstanding. Was an important player, provided some real burst and power and even hit the scoreboard to keep Oakleigh ahead. Best on ground
