A versatile tall talent who owns the swingman tag, Brodie Tuck is capable of impacting in each third of the ground. The Central District Under 18 captain turned out 11 times at the level in 2022, and also notched up a handful of Reserves appearances. Aerially strong, he averaged 6.6 marks when mixing it with senior bodies, and that output lifted to 7.2 among his peers.

Highlighting his swingman value, Tuck took up a primary position up forward and booted 18 goals throughout the Under 18 season, while also shifting back when needed and pinch-hitting in the ruck. Among his best feats, the 17-year-old booted six goals against Sturt in Round 5 and booted at least two majors in six of his first seven games. Later in the year, he clunked 13 marks from 26 touches against Norwood, before registering nine from 30 the following week.

Tuck is strong in the contest and reads the flight of the ball well, standing tall in a side which finished bottom of the ladder. He is not the most expansively athletic type, and is perhaps a little undersized to play in key position posts, but offers good size and fundamentals as a marking player at either end of the ground.
