Somewhat of a smokey out of the prolific Sandringham Dragons region, Charlie Rozenes put his name in lights with a mega performance during the Victorian representative trials. While he fell short of making the final Metro squad, his bag of goals in Werribee showed he was there to be counted.

Rozenes also missed the final cut of Sandringham's list last year, but rallied to break through as a top-ager. He made six appearances for the Dragons between school football commitments with Wesley College, before having his year cut short by a hamstring injury in Wildcard Round.

Having been made to sit on the sidelines for Sandringham's third-consecutive flag, and at the state draft combine, Rozenes remains a prospect on the radar. His smarts and power running are highly regarded, whether as a high forward or closer to goal where he proved so effective early in the year.
