One of a number of over-agers trying to further state their AFLW Draft case through the Coates Talent League Girls competition, Davies was able to expand on her versatility in 2025, playing across all three lines at different times. Though predominantly thought of as a midfielder who can play in defence, Davies even went forward at times including in Round 2 where she slammed home four goals from 40 disposals in a jaw-dropping 90-point win over Bendigo Pioneers.

Davies is a well-rounded player with great defensive pressure, nice clean hands, and despite her 162cm size, is able to stand up in tackles and cleanly distribute of the ball by hand. That distribution at the coalface as well as her two-way defensive ability and high-level endurance base enables her to run out games strongly, and the Rebels prospect did not look out of place at VFLW level where she averaged 13 disposals and three clearances per game for the Bulldogs.

As is so often the case with the more natural footballers, Davies is not the quickest player, and instead covers the ground through a deep work rate and endurance base. She can add additional polish to her kicking at times, but has a neat short, sharp pass and her footy IQ also shines through with her ability to extract the ball and get it forward.
