Izaak Wyatt
height: 187cm
weight: 72kg
D.O.B: 17-03-2000
Leagues: Neafl, AFL U18 Championships
STRENGTHS: Defensive pressure, goal sense, footy IQ, upside
IMPROVEMENTS: Athleticism, endurance, size
SUMMARY: Izaak Wyatt is one of the more unknown quantities to draft watchers, having not played a game in the Allies squad for the National Under 18 Championships, but having showed enough to make the squad in the first place after impressive efforts for Northern Territory. Wyatt is a very raw forward with high upside, having lower athleticism, but just natural footballing talent. He is not the quickest or fittest player out there, but his ability to put pressure on opposition players and use his smarts to restrict their influence is one of the more noticeable qualities about the youngster. He is still very light at just 72kg, but once he fills out, he has good potential as a forward. He has good goal sense and a high footy IQ that will hold him in good stead for the future. Wyatt is currently playing in the NTFL with reigning premiers, Southern Districts, having spent time with NT Thunder in the NEAFL this season.
