Jai Saxena is a member of Collingwood's Next-Generation Academy who had a breakout year for the Oakleigh Chargers in 2025. After showing traits in previous seasons, he secured his spot in Oakleigh's front half with huge performances in Round 2 (23 disposals, nine marks and two goals) and Round 3 (17 disposals, six marks and five goals) to really put his name on the map. Though he tailed off later in the year, the Chargers talent earned a Vic Metro spot where he played two games for the 'Big V'.

Saxena is a light-bodied talent who is still a little raw in terms of his abilities, but he boasts great footy IQ in the front half, moves well and has a dead-eye for goals from the set shot. If he can fulfil his upside, Saxena looms as being a terrific rookie selection for the Pies.
