SUMMARY: Job Colwell is a small forward with a few tricks that make him damaging inside 50. The type of player you are getting with Colwell is a smart forward who has a keen goal sense. Athletically he has great agility and most importantly he consistently hits the scoreboard, which is something that can trouble small forwards at under 18s level. Colwell earned an invitation to the State Combine where he tested well in agility, but could certainly improve in his athletically abilities elsewhere. He recorded 3.13 seconds on the 20m sprint, and 20.2 on the Yo-yo test. These are areas that will improve with a big pre-season at the elite level, so there is certainly upside there. He did not get a huge chance at the National Under 18 Championships given South Australia's depth and strength inside 50, but showed some talent in the one game he did play.
