In a draft full of bolting prospects, Latrelle Pickett well and truly fits the bill. Hailing from Port Lincoln, the goalsneak made quite an impression in his first senior SANFL season, booting 32 goals in 18 Reserves games to help Glenelg take out the flag. He also managed three League appearances, including a four-goal haul on debut before being exposed to a pair of top flight finals.

Pickett is the cousin of Melbourne star Kysaiah and boasts similar X-factor. He's quick and can impact aerially, while possessing innate goal sense and evasive skills. The 19-year-old impressed with the top 2km time at South Australia's state draft combine and translates that to energetic work to get up the ground, though as a small forward he can translate that endurance to more pressure acts.

A player of his potential, first noted on the big stage with three goals in the annual SA Talent Match, is a very good chance of not only having his name called out come draft time, but being a late-first to second round prospect. There remains an element of rawness to Pickett's profile and the Bays made him wait for a League berth this year, but he looks likely to go all the way at AFL level.
