The twin sister of State Draft Combine invitee Zoe, Mathilde went through the Coates Talent League Girls season drawing club interest thanks to her outstanding athletic traits and ability to impact the scoreboard. While she can still further build strength, once she is clear of her opponents can leave them in her dust.

Wilkinson is one who can twist and turn to leave her opponents wrong-footed, and though she is predominant right-footed has great vision and decision making capabilities to hit targets inside 50. In season 2025, Wilkinson booted 13 goals from 17 games playing inside 50, sometimes deeper and other times higher up where she worked up the ground to win the ball.

With a sub 3.2-second 20m sprint, Wilkinson is explosive on the lead, comfortable in getting to the right spots and has the forward craft to do a lot of damage on the scoreboard. She does not have the versatility of her sister, but is such a natural up forward and has that upside given her athletic profile. Watch for her to be one who can slot inside 50 at the top level and go to work with her ability to both mark and crumb.
