Nicholas Driscoll threw his name into the draft conversation during a scintillating mid-season patch of form. The speedy midfielder-forward earned a state draft combine invite on the back of it, and ended up making his VFL debut with the Northern Bullants in Round 17. It was no real wonder given some of the highlight-reel passages he produced in Knights colours.

Capable of breaking the lines with several running bounces, Driscoll has his moments of flair. Those explosive bursts are credit to his electric turn of speed, which help take the game forward with a few risks thrown in the mix. Driscoll also provides substance in his stoppage game, offering high IQ around the contest and a clean set of hands to extract the ball or rove it on the move.

On top of his speed, Driscoll has a decent running tank and works hard on the spread, but can continue to elevate his ability to accumulate possessions. He is a 'moments' player at times, so building consistency will be key to becoming a more reliable asset. Although, his pressure and scoreboard impact are facets which allow him to stay involved in the game.
