PROFILE:

Rebecca Clottey is a modern day small forward who mixes nice goal sense with elite pressure making opposition defenders very nervous. The Geelong Falcons small forward is far from the finished product, building on her three games from 2023 to play 12 in 2024 and then even run out for Vic Country once.

Clottey is quite raw and has elements from her fundamentals to production in order to become more consistent, but she is one of the best tacklers inside 50, averaging 7.4 per game for the Falcons, from her 10.5 disposals. The Victorian also possesses some great goal sense and plays a team role, with her fantastic speed catching the eye.

If Clottey can further develop and enhance the elements of her game that are still a work in progress, then she can add a different look inside 50 to most clubs thanks to her pressure and smarts close to the big sticks.
