Boasting an exciting array of highlights throughout the season, Riley Hamilton emerged as one of the Giants Academy's top prospects. Hamilton plays as a hybrid forward who is a capable aerial competitor and lethal when the ball hits the ground. His performances saw him break into the Allies squad on top of being announced the Giants Academy's Player of the Year.

The over-ager impressed particularly during the National Championships, where he kicked seven goals from his four games and proved to be one of the Allies' most dangerous forwards. He is blessed with the canny ability to turn small opportunities into scores, making for a high impact-per-possession rate.

With the extra year of development and eight total VFL games under his belt, he would be expected to hit the ground running if drafted. Considering how dangerous he can be with ball-in-hand, it would be significant if Hamilton could increase his output as well as polish up his finishing in front of goal, which at times, was erratic this year.
