SUMMARY: Stefan Giro is one of the more well-rounded players that could be available late int he 2017 National Draft. He does not have too many clear weaknesses on the field. He wins heaps of the ball, racks up the clearances, is an elite decision maker and a huge tank. At the National Under 18 Championships he averaged 23 disposals and four clearances for South Australia. He also has fantastic speed and pretty good agility. Many might wonder why he goes late, but at 175cm and 72kg, he is small and light and the upside is the question mark with Giro. He is a hard worker and will continue to try and improve his game, but given his ability to already have an impact and not much filling out can happen, it is just a question of which extra weapons he can add to his game.
