Triffett was another Lions Academy prospect touted as one to watch in 2021 after some impressive signs in the QAFL last year. As a top-ager he was able to show his wares to AFL clubs. He might not be the flashiest player going around, but he has a high work rate and can win the ball in the midfield and up forward. He has been ironing out some areas of improvement to lift his production rate and increase his hurt factor.
