FOUR games of Coates Talent League Girls action took place in Round 15, as top four sides Eastern Ranges and Dandenong Stingrays both won, as did Western Jets who leapfrogged Bendigo Pioneers. We recap who shone and handed out our Rookie Me Central Medal votes.

2023 Coates Talent League Girls: Round 13 wrap
ALL SIX Coates Talent League games took place in Round 13 of the competition with flight delays in the boys’ league not affecting the girls’ clash in Tasmania. There were plenty of close contests across the weekend, with just one above 33 points, and two under 12 points.

GOLD Coast Suns Academy handed Oakleigh Chargers their first loss of the Coates Talent League Girls season as Brisbane Lions Academy also remained undefeated from its three games. Round 9 provided some one-sided contests, but also a couple of nail-biters and recap how it went down.

DANDENONG Stingrays broke Eastern Ranges’ unbeaten record in season 2023, while Gold Coast Suns Academy, Brisbane Lions Academy and Oakleigh Chargers all remained uneaten after Round 8 in the Coates Talent League.

Jets fly South for NAB League Girls Round 2
ANOTHER round of NAB League Girls action is about to take place, with Western Jets coming into the fold, heading down to Tasmania as part of a five-game Saturday. Traditional rivals Oakleigh Chargers and Sandringham Dragons will do battle on Sunday to round out the weekend in what will provide plenty of highlights for spectators.
