THE National Basketball League (NBL) regular season is just around the corner, and the competition has recently kicked off its NBL Blitz pre-season tournament. This has provided a week’s worth of entertainment for basketball fans, and has provided players and coaches around the league an opportunity to blow the dust off and truly ramp up preparations for the upcoming NBL campaign. With 14 games done and dusted across Tasmania and Victoria, the league looks back to its best with a number of thrilling encounters.
With big individual performances and even a stunning game-winning shot, the NBL Blitz has shown that it is more than just a time-filler.
