AFTER 47 matches, two finals and a whole lot of entertainment, the 2023 ANZ Premiership season has come to a close, and to celebrate it is now time to reveal the Rookie Me Central Team of the Season.

Last week’s list of 18 contenders has been whittled down to a squad of 10, with almost every team represented by at least one player.

Who made the team or not was decided with a number of factors in mind, including number of times the player in question made the Team of the Week in 2023.

It must be noted that no finals performances were used in the consideration for the final Team of the Season, and as such no stats from those games have been included in any numbers listed below.
