ANOTHER weekend, and another jam packed one full of action in the Netball Super League.

After an exciting opening round of matches in Nottingham, the competition has a double-header of back-to-back rounds over the space of four days to look forward to.

All teams will take the court on either Friday night or Saturday for Round 2, while the byes start in Round 3 with Manchester and Saracens getting a break.

There are plenty of questions around this weekend’s fixtures that are sure to leave people wondering.

A number of players fared very well over the weekend last time out, like Mary Cholhok, Jo Trip and others, so the question is whether they continue that form.

While Round 1 is normally often a chance to get the cobwebs out and get the season off to a good start, Round 2 and beyond is where teams really show their true colours. Some sides had big wins to open the season, but the real test will whether they back it up this week.  

There is also the question of having a double weekend of matches. Although this is not uncommon in the NSL, there are plenty of new faces in the league this season who will not necessarily be used to it, and after some matches were rather bruising encounters last weekend, this could be in particular.

How will Surrey and Severn in particular go having to play their third and fourth games in the space of a week? How will Surrey go in particular, who have to back up the day after their Round 2 clash for their round three clash as well as travel? Can they keep their winning momentum from opening weekend going?

So, plenty of questions but no answers just yet. Only time will tell what answers they have.
