Felisitus Kwangwa is an up-and-coming defender who oozes plenty of excitement with her natural flair across the court. The Zimbabwean Gems defender will be eager to make a splash in the Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) using her quick feet and nimble court work to win ball back time and time again. The goal defence is known for her explosiveness and silky skills to burst out of the blocks with her tenacity. Although not the tallest defender in the competition, standing at 173cm, she uses her impressive leap and innate timing to deflect balls heading into the circle. She is a smooth mover and is capable of changing the course of a game in an instant with her sticky hands and decision making. Sometimes a little bit costly with ball in hand given her inexperience at the higher levels, there is plenty of development left in Kwangwa and she will take like a duck to water in the fast paced environment that is the VNSL. Captain of the Gems, Kwangwa is a leader on court able to direct the play from down back and use her voice to control the flow of movement across the court. Joining the Surrey Storm for the first time, Kwangwa will be chomping at the bit to prove herself as a key player with her new side and cement a spot in the starting seven.
