A speedy defender, Gibson is a speedster with plenty of experience and cleanliness that she brings to the table. With an ability to play both in wing defence and goal defence, Gibson is on the shorter side for a defender but well and truly uses it to her advantage, craftily finding her way around slower opposition to create turnover ball and form a crucial cog in defence. Currently playing for Saracens Mavericks and part of the extended England Roses list, Gibson is one of those unsuspecting defenders who can come out of nowhere and have a big impact in a short amount of time. Her ability to time her leap is credit to her work rate, doing anything she can to turnover the ball and form a crucial part of the team.
