A veteran New Zealand and Silver Fern, Liana Leota simply gets better with age. The flashy wing attack has speed to burn and oozes class with her impressive timing to pop out on top of the goal circle. She has quick hands to consistently fire passes into the goalers and create a number of attacking forays thanks to her impressive vision and overall netball nous. Leota is a real energiser bunny that dictates the flow inside the attacking third with her give and go and ability to reset play when needed. Making the switch to Severn Stars over the off-season Leota will be hoping to bring her experience and composure to really dominate and provide a steady head for her new side. She is a cool, calm and collected character on court using her zippy footwork to burst out at the centre pass and dance around the court in general while her versatility to swing between centre and wing attack makes her a real threat.
