Standing at 190cm Poolman uses her height to full effect to swat away passes coming into the circle and stop any easy access. Her lean over the shot is intimidating, able to get in the head of the goalers and cause all sorts of headaches. Her connection with Manu'a in the defensive circle enables her to go out hunting for the ball while her rebounding positioning makes her hard to match up on.
