The 2021 Wasps captain is a big threat on the netball court, with plenty of speed, game smarts and the ability to withstand pressure time and again. With excellent footwork, vision and agility, the midcourter provides the court coverage the Wasps need to be a big contender in the Vitality Netball Superleague, able to weave her way down the court and create constant attacking forays. Returning to the court in 2021 following the birth of her first child, expect Candappa to be raring to go and put her consistency, cleanliness and leadership back out on the netball court. With sticky fingers and great transitional play, Candappa is an excellent two-way runner but flourishes on the attack, able to hit circle edge with ease and efficiency to propel ball into the goal circle on a silver platter. With creative flair and an excellent partnership out the front with the likes of Rachel Dunn and Katie Harris, expect the Wasps captain to command both the ball and attention of on-lookers in what should be an exciting new season for the midcourter.
