COACH: Lisa ALEXANDER WORLD CUP DEBUT: 1963 WORLD RANKING: 1 BEST RESULT: 1st (11 titles) Australia will be out for vengeance when they take the court for the World Cup, with a painful loss on home soil in the 2018 Commonwealth Games to England still haunting the Diamonds. The 2019 Diamonds side has kept versatility in mind, with a number of midcourt players who can swap and change depending on coach, Lisa Alexander’s preferences. The Aussies will hope to come in strong to start the series, credit to their shooting prowess and speedy midcourt and put on a memorable performance to leave their 2018 Commonwealth Games performance at the door.
