SUNCORP SUPER NeTBALL:

Magpies fall short in practice match against Lightning

THE Collingwood Magpies were unable to steal a win in both practice matches against the Sunshine Coast Lightning, in Tasmania. Both sides had very different line-ups to their 2018 team, with a whopping eight new players taking the court for their respective teams making for an interesting contest.

Head 2 Head Battles:

Diamonds H2H Battle: 2000s vs 2010s

WITH the upcoming Netball World Cup looming, we decided to take a trip down memory lane and come up with our definitive Diamonds of the 2000s side and Diamonds of the 2010s (so far) side. Both sides consist of some familiar names, with players put in a specific side based on when they played the brunt of their international netball career.

SSN H2H Battle: Over 25s vs 25 and unders

WITH the upcoming Suncorp #TeamGirls Cup preseason competition set to commence in a few weeks, we decided to cast an eye over all the teams and create over 25s and 25 and under sides. Both sides consist of players on the 2019 roster and the teams are filled with some of the best players in the league.

VITALITY NeTBALL SUPERLEAGUE:

Vitality Netball superleague wrap: Round 4

WITH bad weather warnings and temperatures looking to drop below zero on Friday evening, round four of the Vitality Netball Superleague began with a postponed match for Team Bath and Severn Stars due to the snow. It was looking to be a tight matchup between fourth and fifth on the ladder, set to shake up the competition, however will be rescheduled for another date (to be confirmed). With all remaining round four matches won in the third quarter, losing teams will want to clean up their act come round five.
