Potential RMC Medal winners whittled down to four
ONLY four Coates Talent League players are in with a mathematical chance of taking out the 2023 Rookie Me Central Medal, with just two Coates Talent League rounds left to play. Tasmania Devils midfielder Colby McKercher remains the man to beat out in front on 35 votes.

After polling five votes apiece in Round 15, Gippsland’s Zane Duursma and George Stevens remain in the hunt. Splitting them for the final podium spot is Murray midfielder Darcy Wilson, who was also best afield this weekend but is out of the running at seven votes adrift with only one game in hand.
Eastern Ranges bottom-ager Josh Smillie also has enough votes (26) to contend, but remains in fifth place after being injured in the first quarter on Saturday. Fellow 2024 prospects Jagga Smith (24 votes) and Christian Moraes (21) polled strongly to feature in the extended top 10.
