ROOKIE ME Central’s 2023 AFL Women’s Draft Guide officially gets released tomorrow night at 8pm, in what is the biggest and best edition yet. The 2023 AFLW Draft Guide features full profiles on every Draft Combine invitee, as well as some additional pocket profiles and stacks of content.

The 2023 AFLW Draft Guide full page profiles will be split up into three sections:

• Pre-Listed Draftees (the eight players already taken by expansion clubs)

• Top 30 Players to Watch (we name 30 yet to be taken to keep an eye on)

• National Draft Combine Invitees (The remaining 48 players from the Draft Combine)

In addition to the full page profiles, there will be a number of pages of pocket profiles, will additional profiles completed for the Rookie Me Central site only in the coming weeks.

The AFLW Draft Guide also features content such as the Top 5 National Combine results, our Player Performance Rating stars from the Combine, and content from AFLW Under 18 Championships, MVPs and All-Australian team.

It does not stop there though, with every member who played in South Australia’s title-winning championships profiled, as is those in the Rookie Me Central Talent League Team of the Year. We hear from Rookie Me Central Medallist Sara Howley, as well as Talent League Grand Final MVP Sienna Tallariti with their features included in the guide.

Furthermore, the final Rookie Me Central AFLW Draft Power Rankings are included, as is features on Tasmania’s Brooke Barwick and Queensland’s Sophie Peters. We name a handful of AFLW Draft bolters and add some Player Focuses from the year, then cast our eye to next year with our favourite entry piece for bottom-age prospects, the 24 in 2024.

That will not be the only piece looking to next year, with the topic of Super Drafts on the agenda. Three of the Player Focuses also take a close look at players from next year’s draft crop.

With more than 150 pages in the AFLW Draft Guide, there is something for everyone, and will provide endless hours in the lead-up to, during and after the 2023 AFLW Draft.
