2024 AFLW Practice Match schedule revealed
THE AFL has just announced the practise match and match simulation schedules for the 2024 AFL Women’s season.
Practise matches will run on the weekend of August 16 to 18, and will be free to attend for all fans. If fans cannot get to the games, they will also be live streamed via the clubs’ websites.

Friday August 16
1:30pm – West Coast vs St Kilda at Mineral Resources Park
7:15pm – Brisbane vs Richmond at Brighton Homes Arena
Saturday August 17
10am – Fremantle vs Collingwood at Fremantle Oval
11am – GWS vs North Melbourne at Blacktown International Sports Park
1pm – Essendon vs Geelong at Windy Hill
2pm – Sydney vs Hawthorn at SCG
5:15pm – Gold Coast vs Western Bulldogs at People First Stadium
Sunday August 18
11am – Port Adelaide vs Melbourne at Alberton Oval
1pm – Adelaide vs Carlton at Thomas Farms Oval, Unley
The match simulations will run on the weekend before the official practice matches, and the key components of the matches, including the format, number of players, game length and number of breaks will be decided by the competing clubs. Whether fans can come and watch the games will also be communicated by the clubs involved, with fans encouraged to keep an eye on their club’s website in the days leading up to the session for that information.

1pm – Hawthorn vs Essendon at Caulfield Grammar, Wheelers Hill Campus
2:30pm – GWS vs Sydney at Blacktown International Sports Park
2:30pm – Geelong vs Collingwood at GMHBA Stadium

1pm – Adelaide vs Port Adelaide at Central Oval, Port Augusta
