2025 Victorian U16 Girls trials squads announced
VICTORIA’s top Under 16s prospects will battle it out in a couple of trial matches over the weekend with the contests aiding in selecting the Vic Country and Vic Metro squads for the upcoming National Development Championships.
While the Coates Talent League Under 16s competition has been underway, the trial matches further act as a selection tool for selectors. The 2025 AFLW Under 16 Development Championships run throughout April, and though the weekend’s matches will serve as a guide for selection, players who do not take part in the trials are still eligible to be selected.
The Vic Country Under 16s trial match is played tomorrow at Trevor Barker Beach Oval from 11:45am, while the Vic Metro Under 16s trial match will commence from 10:30am on Sunday at RMIT University Oval in Bundoora.
