2025 CTLG RMC MEDAL | Bell, Baker-West remain 10/10

FOLLOWING Round 2 of the Coates Talent League Girls competition, just two players have maintained a perfect start in the 2025 Rookie Me Central Medal. Murray Bushrangers’ sharpshooter Rose Bell – who has kicked 11 goals across two games – and Calder Cannons ball-winner Chloe Baker-West – who is averaging 34.5 disposals.

While the full leaderboard will be revealed after Round 3, Bell and Baker-West are the sole recipients of back-to-back best on grounds. From a team perspective, Dandenong Stingrays have collected all 30 votes on offer – albeit with different players – though Evelyn Connolly, Alice Cunnington and Nalu Brothwell feature across both.

The likes of GWV Rebels utility Maggie Johnstone and Murray tackling machine Nikhita Spiteri picked up more votes in Round 2 to sit just off the leaders, as does Tayla McMillan – who lead for a while in last year’s count before finishing top five – with eight votes.

With a couple of one-sided contests over the weekend, neither Bendigo Pioneers nor Geelong Falcons players received any votes, though both got on the leaderboard last round. After not getting votes in Round 1, Bella Davies (40 disposals, four goals) and Sienna Sharp (34 disposals, one goal) both made waves to skip the cue up to five votes.

Bottom-age trio Milly Shortal (GWV Rebels), Isabella Mazzei (Oakleigh Chargers) and Grace McIntyre (Sandringham Dragons) all received their first votes in Round 2 of the Coates Talent League Girls competition.

Stay tuned, we’ll post the full leaderboard after Round 3.
