Coates Talent League finals fixtures update

A MID-WEEK change to the Coates Talent League Boys finals fixtures has seen the original triple-header at Toorak Park moved across two days and two venues to create a double and triple-header with the girls’ finals. Originally three of the four boys’ quarter finals were scheduled for Sunday at the venue, but following a turf assessment the decision was made to switch venues.

The Dandenong Stingrays and GWV Rebels quarter final will remain unchanged, as will both girls’ preliminary finals. However, the Eastern Ranges and Calder Cannons’ clash has moved both day and venue, now scheduled for 2:10pm today at La Trobe University, Bundoora. It will be the second match of a double-header alongside the Eastern Ranges and Murray Bushrangers’ girls match.
The other two changes involve the remaining couple of Toorak Park matches to be shifted to Shepley Oval in Dandenong which will also follow the girls’ match. Dandenong Stingrays and Oakleigh Chargers open proceedings tomorrow from 10:30am, before Gippsland Power and Geelong Falcons take centre stage at 12:30pm. The finals action concludes with traditional metropolitan rivals Sandringham Dragons and Oakleigh Chargers teeing off from 3:00pm.
