2025 AFLW Draft – Pick by Pick
THE 2025 AFLW Draft has concluded, with another crop of young stars taking the step into the premier women’s competition in Australia, and there were some surprising selections on the night.
With plenty of speculation around the top selection from a talented 2025 crop, the Richmond Tigers ended up bolstering their forward line with the addition of Western Australia tall Olivia Wolmarans. An athletic key forward, she has all the traits to play a key role for Richmond forward of centre in years to come.
The GWS Giants then swooped on Scarlett Johnson and Kiera Yerbury with their consecutive picks, but not before bidding on a portion of Gold Coast’s plethora of academy selections. The Suns walked away with a large chunk of the evening’s early picks thanks to alignments with some of the top players in the draft crop, and have cultivated their future with a successful evening.
