Warner captains Under 16 All-Australian team
WEST Australian co-captain and Kevin Sheehan Medallist Troy Warner has been named captain of the Under 16 All-Australian team. Alan McLean Medallist James Rice also features in the 23-player lineup, next to Warner and South Australian MVP Logan Treverton in midfield.

Warner was one of four West Australians to make the cut after the Sandgropers claimed their first Under 16 title since 2017. South Australia also contributed an equal-high four members, while Pool B champions GWS Giants Academy had three players earn their spot, level with Vic Country.
It was an even spread between the two pools. Pool A makes up just over half of the squad with 12 players compared to Pool B’s 11. All 10 teams to have participated in the carnival are represented, with seven of them boasting multiple inclusions. MVP Louis Grinter was the only Vic Metro player selected.
