Amelia Martin produced a really consistent top-age season, representing the Swans Academy at Coates Talent League Girls level, then earning the call-up for the Allies at the national championships. Martin played all three games for the Allies, averaging seven disposals and laying 2.3 tackles per match. Though not a massive accumulator, defensively Martin is strong, and she kicked three goals across four games able to play forward and rotate into the midfield. Her ability to transition the ball forward is very good, and she has some nice speed off the mark. Her form throughout the year earned the top-ager an AFLW Draft nomination from Sydney and could be among the Swans three later selections.
