An athletic forward half prospect who provides consistent defensive pressure and keeps the ball free from opponents through traffic, Nankervis has the athletic profile to be a solid half-forward at the next level. Along with the athletic traits, part of his upside comes with the scope to transition into a tall midfielder, with Nankervis' agility and quick hands on the inside impressing at times this season.

Whilst not hitting the scoreboard every game, Nankervis does plenty to assist in scoring chains with his unselfish forward half play, and pops up in flashes to help generate some life into his side's attacking movement. As a relative newcomer to the Dragons program, he has plenty of development left and can boost his production with continued exposure at high levels.
