FRIDAY afternoon’s AFL preseason and rookie drafts rounded out the 2021 intake, with the upcoming supplemental selection period (SPP) the only other chance for clubs to bolster their lists ahead of season 2022. 11 fresh faces entered the elite level as rookie selections among a bunch of re-listings, while one of two preseason draft picks rounded out a formidable crop for talent region, Sandringham Dragons. Category B selections are still filtering through, though some nominees have officially joined their new clubs.
