Leagues: NAB League Boys
Northern Territory native Jack Peris, the son of Olympic champion Nova, hails from elite athletic pedigree and certainly shows it on-field. The pacy wingman may be lightly-built, but is not afraid to harass the opposition and get stuck in by applying tackling pressure, but also leans on his pace in an attacking sense with his weaving outside runs.
A student at Melbourne Grammar, Peris also linked with the Sandringham Dragons for a handful of NAB League games this season, and came through the NTFL ranks with local club, Nightcliff. It took him a few games to click into gear, but he found some good form with 17 disposals and two goals against Dandenong Stingrays in Round 4, spending a bit of time on all three lines in 2021.
