Returning from a long-term knee injury, Lucy Cronin might have missed out on Vic Metro selection, but gained confidence throughout the Talent League season and had a great run to the finish with Oakleigh Chargers. Standing up throughout the eventual premiers side, Cronin showed some nice rebounding ability to go with her speed and size.
SUMMARY:
Lucy Cronin might be one of the rare cases of a top-ager getting drafted from outside the Victorian Under 18s squads. Her form in the second half of the Talent League season is as strong as anyone’s, and given her capacity for improvement with her size and speed, she can take her game to another level with a big off-season. No guarantee to get drafted, she will likely be in consideration from the mid-to-late draft.
