One player who is heavily underrated but has enormous upside is the Giants Academy-tied Berry. While missing out on Allies selection, Berry has the hallmarks of being a very good player at the next level with some work on a few areas. From an athletic standpoint, Berry has a brilliant burst out of stoppages and provides terrific physicality both on the offensive and defensive end, while showing exceptionally clean hands in traffic or off the deck.

While Berry's precision by foot and decision making at times can let her down, she is ironing out those areas and has made inrorads throughout the 2025 season. After an okay stint with the Giants - where she admitted she could have performed better - the UTS prospect tore the AFL Sydney apart, winning her club's best and fairest to follow on from her Rising Star award last year.

What stands out about Berry's profile is the fact that she can play both on-ball or forward, and is that fantastic second or third possession winner who can impact directly and indirectly on the scoreboard. With great upside, the NSW/ACT talent is one to watch for the coming years.
