POSITION: Medium Utility  

Andrews is a member of the AFL Academy, whose 2021 season did not quite go to plan. After playing the first three games of the season, Andrews missed a large chunk of it, not playing NAB League Boys again until July 11, where he picked up 14 disposals in the Chargers’ big win over Dandenong Stingrays. Not a huge ball winner, Andrews does have the smarts and skill to impact a game and can play on all three lines.

Aside from his ability to use the ball offensively, Andrews has the capacity to impact off the scoreboard, and remains clean at ground level, and composed with ball-in-hand. He needs to lift his accumulation numbers to have a greater impact for longer, as well as build up the defensive attributes of his game, as he can be quite damaging from an offensive point of view.
