PROFILE:

Daisy Flockart is no stranger to being thrown around into different roles on the football field. A midfielder/forward usually, Flockart did spend time on a wing as a bottom-ager, and then was moved to defence for Vic Metro at the AFL Women's Under 18 Championships. Though not a preferred position, Flockart was able to play all three games in the role given the depth of players in her more preferred positions.

From a ball-winning perspective, Flockart is strong at the coalface, thrives on the physicality of the sport, but is also quite explosive and powerful. From a defensive standpoint, Flockart can consistently lay huge tackles and put pressure on the opposition, and has the ability to work back defensively to take intercept marks.

Her aerial ability is an element that has developed over the last couple of seasons, and while her kicking precision is an area to further develop alongside her groundballs, Flockart is good enough to impact both in the air and at ground level. With a full preseason, Flockart's endurance will also develop as well to add another layer to her game.
