Leagues: AFL U18 Championships
STRENGTHS:
+ Agility
+ Class
+ Goal sense
+ X-factor
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Consistency
- Size
North Adelaide small forward Evan Bradley has all the class required to be an effective small forward. The diminutive goalsneak is a crafty finisher capable of splitting the big sticks with either side of his foot or over the mark. A confidence player with a nose for goal, he booted 18 majors in the SANFL Under 18s this season and earned a Reserves berth.
While his scoreboard impact is important, Bradley also sought to ensure he could keep up with the modern requirements of small forwards, fitness-wise. His ability to work up the ground as a high forward is terrific, creating separation on his opponent and hurting them on the way back to goal.
Bradley's agility is one of the factors which aids his scoring ability. He can turn opponents inside-out or cut back in for looks on goal, while also backing his line-breaking speed when grass is there to be taken. Size will be the one key question mark on him, as well as his consistency - he's a 'moments' type of player who needs a good early moment to get going.
