A GWS GIANTS Academy member, Hayley Macdonald had an impressive outing against Murray Bushrangers in the NAB League Girls, and was picked for the Allies at the AFL Women's Under 19 Championships. Standing at 168cm, Macdonald is strong in the air and on the lead, able to beat opponents taller than her. Whilst she is not the quickest player going around, her clean hands, footy smarts and forward craft more than make up for it. She has the versatility to push up the ground, and Macdonald is one to watch for the future as a damaging forward option.
