Kiana Lee's season would have to have had her name put down on a number of AFLW Draft boards, producing a remarkable turnaround from a player who was at times stuck playing in the Development competition in 2023, forcing her way into the League side by the end of that year and playing both of Norwood's finals.

Fast forward 12 months as Lee has a case as one of the MVPs of the year, with opposition coaches actively coming up with plans to try and quell her. Her running capacity, ability to cover the ground and clunk an intercept mark up one end then moments later take a huge grab inside 50 was testament to her work rate.

Her marking and kicking are two of her biggest weapons, winning games off her own boot at times and kicking some ridiculous goals such as her three match-winning majors in the preliminary final. While she is not the quickest player, she covers the ground so well, and the fact that she has developed so rapidly this year - often playing as a wing and then a post at either end - means she has to come into considerations.
