Layla Quinn-Schofield is another naturally gifted footballer who, if you only looked at her footballing traits, would clearly be someone who could step up to the next level. Boasting one of the most deadly left boots both in precision and penetration, Quinn-Schofield is a distributor who impacts on the scoreboard or finding targets inside 50 that few others can.
As is so often the case with natural footballers not getting a look in despite their talent, Quinn-Schofield's speed and endurance are the two main knocks. They are developable, particularly the latter, and given her kicking, she looms as a player who could very well step up to the elite level in the future in a role off half-back or in the middle.
Along with her kicking, Quinn-Schofield has the power to breakaway - even if not the explosiveness - and shrug tackles, while being clean and effective by hand as well. When inside 50, she knows where the goals are, and as soon as she can swing onto that trusty left foot, defenders get nervous. On talent she would be a top 50 prospect in this year's draft, it is just rounding out that athletic side of her game.
