A really well-balanced player across the board, Lucinda 'Lucy' Watson has some really transferrable traits to the next level. Though she only stands at 161cm and needs to build up her strength further, Watson's football knowledge and reading of the game is outstanding. She gets into good spots, wins the ball and then distributes cleanly by hand or foot.

In a year where the Swans Academy have a number of top-end talents, Watson is a name that might have flown under the radar, but having spent time both inside and outside - and even forward - the top-ager has the merits to reach the next stage. She moves well around the ground, and though explosiveness out of a contest is one area she is building up, once she has the ball in hand, she makes good with her decisions.

Watson is the kind of player you want streaming forward as her best work involves lowering the eyes and delivering neat passes to forwards on the lead, or sidestepping an opponent and opening up angles with 45-kicks. She played all four games for the Allies this year, and though she is not a massive accumulator, has plenty of potential and growth for the future and is more than happy to relocate anywhere in the country.
