Another Quaynor has been rising through the ranks this year in Luke, the brother of Collingwood's Isaac. He's clearly cut from the same cloth as a strong and competitive small defender who punches above his weight, though is less further along than his elder sibling was at the same age.

Quaynor found form in the middle part of the season where he had settled into a role down back. He was often entrusted with the kick-in duties, showcasing neat skills in the short-range, while also locking down on dangerous small forwards. His physicality and strong frame served him well in those instances.

Capable of playing above his size, Quaynor posted the equal-second best running vertical jump at the state draft combine (89cm). He translated that data on-field with many prolific marking games, proving gutsy in the defensive hole and intercepting the ball cleanly at full stretch.

Quaynor was also trialled in a few different positions, most often having a late run in midfield while also having a go up forward where his pressure may be of more use to Collingwood. The NGA product still showed his best form down back, but can improve both his speed and endurance running to make the next step.
