Madison Dodd is one of those players who teammates love to run out alongside given her attack on the ball and opposition. She puts her body on the line consistently, applying plenty of defensive pressure, while thriving on the contested side of the game. Over the last 18 months, Dodd has perhaps lacked that bit of polish with her execution, and that is due to a lack of composure. However, she has a lot of footballing traits.

Her kicking can be quite punchy and effective around the ground, and has developed throughout the season. Having a great grasp of the game, Dodd is able to play her role each and every game, and has slotted into positions on all three lines. That versatility is a massive tick for the Subiaco talent, who is arguably the top West Australian prospect outside the AFLW Draft Combine invitees.

As she builds her endurance further over time, Dodd will be able to influence for longer, but her willingness to crack in and show great courage in each and every game has been consistent. With a great understanding of the game, Dodd will leave no stone unturned as she eyes off reaching the elite level, nominating nationally to give herself the best possible chance.
