PROFILE:

A hard working left-footer, Madison Ibrahim has some impressive traits that are transferrable to the top level. Her groundballs in particular are a point of difference compared to a lot of other players, and once she has it, Ibrahim is not afraid to take the game on using her speed to run and carry with ball in hand. That outside game is what she thrives on and plays so well coming off half-back.

Ibrahim was able to adapt in patches when moved inside for the Bushrangers, but having that lighter body and less physicality meant she was not going to be a first possession winner often despite being a clean ball user at ground level. If she could develop that contested game and greater physicality that would aid in her development through that role.

As it stands, her work off half-back suits her and her strengths, and if she can develop a greater consistency, then she will be able to impact games for longer. Fortunately she got the chance to play two games for Vic Country, averaging 7.5 disposals in the 'Big V' to go with her 13.9 disposals for Murray.
