IMPROVEMENTS:

- Production
- Strength

A smart small forward with plenty of upside, Orlando Turner is a member of the AFL Academy and has plenty of eye-catching traits. The well-travelled Turner has represented both the Northern Territory and Norwood this year, as well as the Allies, and is a member of Melbourne's Next-Generation Academy. With outstanding forward craft and high-level footy IQ, Turner knows where the goals are and how to do plenty of damage.

His national carnival was solid without being outstanding across his two games, and he only managed the one game at SANFL Under 18s level, so is relatively untested compared to other prospects. His strength and production are areas that need improving, with the 176cm talent clever enough to play that traditional small forward role, while adding that defensive element inside 50.

One of his best moments this year was kicking a clutch goal in the game which secured the Allies' historic National Championships victory. He was invited to the state combine in South Australia but did not participate in testing having missed his flight out to Adelaide on the day. Nonetheless, his ties to Melbourne may help his draft hopes off limited exposure.
